Full service design for the theoretical rebrand of the Royal 7 Inn, a motel located in Bozeman, MT.
Scope: Branding, Logo Design, Stationery, Environmental Design, Advertising, Copywriting
What is the Royal 7 Inn?
The Royal 7 Inn is a local Bozeman motel that has been in the community for years. They pride themselves on their cozy and clean rooms, competitive rates and proximity to Bozeman's downtown.
Rebrand Concept
The rebrand concept uses topography lines inspired by the mountains surrounding Bozeman, a fun typeface and colors that reflect Bozeman's nature. These elements in combination appeal to the outdoorsy audience that makes up the majority of visitors coming to Bozeman.
Environment
To draw in customers driving into town, I designed a wooden sign with the inn's logo and changed the building's colors to align with the new identity.
Stationery System
The stationery system reflects the logo with its color palette, typeface and use of topographic lines.
Door Hangers
Each room is provided with door hangers that indicate whether visitors are out exploring or if they're still resting up from their adventures.
The Key To A Great Stay
To add some texture, I designed each of the key tags to be made from wood with laser cut topography lines etched in the surface.
Advertising
To get my target audience excited about visiting Bozeman, I created magazine and instagram ads that feature the local outdoors. I used verbiage that communicates the Royal 7 Inn as being a crucial part of their Bozeman experience.
